Sailing on the opponent of Connie van Rietschoten's Flyer.One of the great at the Hiswa is without a doubt the yacht King's Legend. A 65 feet long Swan that was built in 1975 in Finland to take part in the Whitbread Around The World Race 1977 / 78. After an exhausting race, the yacht which was sailing under the English flag, was just piped at the post by Connie van Rietschoten's Flyer, who eventually won the race. This beautiful yacht has recently a new owner, Gijs van Liebergen, a Dutchman living in Amsterdam. His dream (to eventually sail around the world) can now become reality.
